rs Magica is now in its fifth edition, released by the fourth publisher. Thoughout its history six core rule book and more then 60 supplements were published and some of them translated in up to four languages. And that does not even include the numerous fanzine, downloads, websites, forums and mailing lists out there.
bviously you don't need to know, let alone own all that material to be able to play Ars Magica. We at Project: Ars-Magica.Net intend to give you a general idea of what was published and what you might like to have for playing Ars Magica. Wir will try to explain basic rules and answer typical questions for both beginners and experts.
inally please remember the most important rule: It is your game and you are supposed to have fun. Whatever works for your game can't be wrong; whatever you don't like, change it or simply ignore it. Our house rules section gives you an idea, what others players wanted to change for their games.
