Why do I have to register?
-
You don't have to register. Most of the site can be viewed without being registered or loged in. Some pages allow contributions however, and in order to publish contributions we also need the name of the author. That's why, for example, you need to be logged in to write a review.
-
Why are some pages bilingual, while others are only available in German?
-
Our admin and main author is German and thus the site's basic structure is based on the German site. That means, among other thing, that a page can be published in German before it is finished in English, but not vice versa. We do however try to keep up with translating.
-
Do you plan to include other languages?
-
Sure, if someone volunteers to do the translation. But beware, this site has more then 400 pages already and it is constantly growing. Translating this is a lot of work! Technically it is no problem at all though.
-
I have a question that is not answered in the FAQ!
-
Well, there are two thing you can do get an answer anyway: Post your question in the forums or, if you want to keep it a bit more private, you can use our contact form to contact us.
-
I'd like to contribute something, but I don't know how!
-
Either you use our contact form or you send an email to our admin at varius(at)ars-magica(dot)net.
-
What kind of contributions are you interested in?
-
Basicly we welcome everything to do with Ars Magica or Medieval Europe or that will help players of the game in any way. For inspiration we have compiled a list of things we are especially interested in.
-
How do I submit my contribution?
-
We've got a contact form that will allow you to contact us or even submit your contribution directly.
-
A seasonal drawing? What is that?
-
In order to encourage our visitors to contribute to the site, we hold a prize drawing once every three months. Everyone making a major contribution to Projekt: Ars-Magica.Net has a chance of winning some Ars Magica related prize.
-
What is a major contribution?
-
Now that's tough question. We have set up a number of guidelines that may help to answer this question. However we have to stress that there is no general right to take part in the drawing. We have to say that again and again to make sure we don't run into legal trouble we can't afford.
