Did you know...?

In 1170 a major storm tide ripped away large parts of the Dutch coast, opening the Zuidersee and thus the Rhine delta arm Ijssel to the North Sea. During the flood the isles of Texel and Wieringen were created - or more precisely - were the only part of the land that was left.

Mailing Lists

number of mailing lists deal with Ars Magica or are of interest for players of the game for other reasons. Among these are generallistic lists like the famous BerkList, that well gladly discuss litterally anything at least half way relevant to Ars Magica - and others that are highly specialized. We'd like to introduce you to some of the more important lists.

BerkList

The BerkList is probably the oldest and certainly the most well known Ars Magica mailing lists. You will get fast and competent replies to almost anything concerning Ars Magica, but the list is also famous for its heated discussions, that may at times drown some requests completely. The list discusses in English (usually).

ArM5 Discussion

This is a new mailing list founded and maintained by David Chart, that is ddedicated to Ars Magica, fifth edition only. The intention was to start a list for the new edition and its new players where questions would not be buries in heated discussion like it was expected from the BerkList. The lists main language in English, but you may get answers in other languages, too.

Ars-Magica-Deutsch

A discussion list in German language, dedicated to everything remotely linked to Ars Magica. The list is low traffic, but fast to respond.
